Mesa Falls Byway clean up sections.

HFWA is helping with a community project to clean up the Mesa Falls Byway, organized by Scott Marrett. We will meet at Bear Gulch parking. Here is a link to Google Maps to get there, if you are not familiar with the area. We’d like to divide the 15 mile section of Highway-47 into 2 mile sections, so we are looking for 20+ volunteers–so invite your neighbors! Groups of up to 4 people will tackle each section, leaving a vehicle at the beginning and the finish.

Volunteers should dress for the weather and walking in tall grasses. Volunteers should be physically able to walk on steep and uneven ground. We will provide gloves for handling trash, but you’re welcome to bring your own or to bring your own trash pickers if you have some.

Following the clean-up, Grub Shack will provide a free light lunch to all the volunteers! Lunch will be provided at the Lower Mesa Falls Picnic area starting at 12pm.

Sign up below to make sure you receive updates on this project. HFWA volunteers are required to sign a liability waiver for all volunteer projects.
