Ever wonder how photographers capture their incredible moments with wildlife? Is it magic? Did the Wildlife Gods just bless them more than you?

Now you can learn about the secrets of skilled wildlife photographers!

This half day event will include outside practice and guidance by skilled photographers. You do not need a fancy camera to come! Our course will have a beginners and intermediate section. Both sections will also learn more about ethical photography practices and how photographs can be used to benefit conservation. Cost of participation will include lunch. In addition to some form of camera (even a smart phone!) participants should dress for the outdoors and wear comfortable shoes.

Beginning section: Photography basics and composition for taking photos in outside and various lighting. Learn how to sharpen focus and make any photo “pop.”

Intermediate section: Learn the tips of the trade in capturing those magic moments, advanced settings and overcoming difficult conditions

Because of the incredible willingness of these expert photographers to volunteer their time, this workshop will only cost $30 for participants!

Stephanie Magee

Stephanie is a wildlife photographer in Idaho Falls. She found her love for photography in 2018 shortly after moving to Idaho Falls. Coming from Kansas, she was amazed at the beauty of Idaho and wanted to learn how to capture that beauty in photographs for her family back home. Photography and her love for adventure has taken Stephany all over Idaho and surrounding states, searching for new experiences and photographs to share. Wildlife photography is her particular passion; there is just something about a peaceful day in the mountains, searching for that animal and finally getting the perfect shot. She began selling her wildlife photography at a few local shops and at art fairs in 2021 and expanded to portrait photography shortly after. Visit her website at StephMageePhotography.com to view her amazing work!
