WILDLIFE FESTIVAL

HFWA’s third annual wildlife festival will be hosted in partnership with Harriman State Park. This year our “Bear Country” theme will promote “Island Park is Bear Country,” a public education program in partnership with Involved Property Owners of Island Park and Bear Aware Island Park that seeks to improve safer bear attractant storage among Island Park residents and visitors.

As always, the Wildlife Festival will feature good food and activities from local conservation agencies and organizations.  Early guests will have an opportunity to receive free bear spray canisters and everyone can test their bear spray skills on Idaho Fish & Game’s charging mechanical bear. Guests can also score big in our raffle and silent auction, which supports HFWA’s conservation efforts.
